Dear Past & Present Campers
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the 110th Anniversary Banquet to be held under the Marquee at the Camp on the 5th January. It will be an unforgettable evening of camaraderie, fine speeches, punchy toasts, good food, a chance to reconnect with old friends and of course some hearty camp singing to be facilitated by some specially bottled camp vino.
We invite you, past campers, to make a full go of the opportunity and to spend a few days back at Camp. Thursday evening will see you settling in to Camp, ready for a "full frontal" approach up Rocklands departing at 6.30am on the Friday morning. The Friday banquet will be a black-tie affair, starting at 6pm. Following the banquet, we anticipate a slightly more sedate start to the Saturday morning which will follow the normal camp routine of a sobering bathing parade (for old-times’ sake!) and a hearty camp breakfast. This will be followed by a full camp pirating expedition, with X marking the spot opposite The Cliffs for the inevitable mother-of-all-pirate-battles!
For the survivors, a camp braai will be held on Saturday evening, followed by the Family Sunday which follows our age-old routine.
We look forward to welcoming all past- campers to a very special few days and hope you can join us not just for the banquet but for the celebrations either side.
Yours in camping,
Nigel and Morgan
